NOTUS EVO is a professional CNC router designed for signmaking, advertising production, architectural models, plastics, composites, woodworking, and light industrial applications.
With a 2100 × 3150 mm working area, Mitsubishi AC servo technology, a stress-relieved welded steel frame, and a 175 mm Z-axis movement, the machine is built for daily production where precision, repeatability, operator safety, and comfort matter.

Precision Begins Before The Cut
Accurate CNC production starts before the spindle reaches the material. Setup, material height, spoilboard height, and tool position all influence the final machining result.

Operator Safety And Accuracy
The previous metal touch puck method worked for years, but it depended on careful manual placement under a sharp tool. With frequent tool changes or less experienced operators, that manual step could create production delays, damaged tools, or avoidable setup mistakes.
The COMAGRAV Z TOP Sensor is designed to automate this process, reducing manual setup while improving consistency, repeatability, and operator confidence throughout production.
Tool Measuring Solutions
When configured with automatic tool changing, the Z TOP Sensor can be paired with a dedicated tool measurement solution located within the tool magazine to automatically verify tool length and positioning.
Machine Protection
The COMAGRAV PILOT control system supports intelligent tool tray presence checking. The system evaluates whether a tool position is occupied before an automatic tool change takes place.
This helps prevent spindle collisions, identifies missing or misplaced tools, and supports longer spindle and machine life during everyday production.
