CWT/CWX ER62.2A Single O-Flute Upcut Router Bit

The CWT/CWX ER62.2A router bit is engineered for precision CNC routing of plastics, foam boards, and wood substrates commonly used in signage production, graphics fabrication, packaging prototyping, and industrial machining. Manufactured from high-quality solid carbide, this tool delivers excellent cutting precision, durability, and stable routing performance for small-diameter machining applications.

The single O-flute right-hand spiral (upcut) geometry efficiently evacuates chips upward from the cutting zone, helping reduce heat buildup and preventing material re-melting when machining plastics and foam materials. This design promotes smooth cutting performance and clean edge quality in a wide range of rigid materials.

With a 2 mm cutting diameter and 7 mm cutting edge length (CEL), the ER62.2A is ideal for detailed profiling, slotting, and through-cut routing where tight tolerances and fine detail are required.

While capable of machining some soft metals, for routing aluminum or ACM materials we recommend Rainbow/DLC coated tooling, which provides improved lubrication, reduced friction, and longer tool life when machining metal substrates.
