CWT/CWX ER62.2B Single O-Flute Upcut Router Bit with Stop Ring

The CWT/CWX ER62.2B router bit with stop ring is engineered for precision CNC routing of plastics, foam boards, and wood substrates commonly used in signage production, graphics fabrication, packaging prototyping, and industrial machining. Manufactured from high-quality solid carbide, this tool provides excellent durability, precise cutting performance, and reliable results for small-diameter routing applications.

The single O-flute right-hand spiral (upcut) geometry efficiently evacuates chips upward from the cutting zone, helping prevent heat buildup and material re-melting when machining plastics and foam materials. This geometry produces smooth cutting action and consistent edge quality across a variety of rigid substrates.

With a 2 mm cutting diameter and 7 mm cutting edge length (CEL), the ER62.2B is ideal for detailed profiling, slotting, and through-cut routing operations where tight tolerances and fine detail are required.

This version includes a precision stop ring (collar) designed to maintain consistent tool positioning when used with Zünd ARC automated routing systems and the CUTWORX Tool Changer, ensuring reliable automated tool changes and repeatable cutting performance in production environments.

While capable of machining some soft metals, for routing aluminum or ACM materials we recommend Rainbow/DLC coated tooling, which provides improved lubricity, reduced friction, and longer tool life when machining metal substrates.
