CWT/CWX ER63.2C Extended Single O-Flute Upcut Router Bit

The CWT/CWX ER63.2C router bit is an extended version of the ER63.1A, engineered for precision CNC routing where additional cutting depth is required. This multi-purpose tool is designed for machining plastics, foam boards, and wood substrates commonly used in signage fabrication, display production, packaging prototypes, and industrial fabrication workflows.

Manufactured from high-quality solid carbide, the ER63.2C provides excellent durability and stability during high-speed CNC routing. The single O-flute right-hand spiral (upcut) geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduced heat buildup, which is critical when machining thermoplastics and foam materials. This geometry also helps produce smooth edges and consistent cutting performance across a variety of rigid substrates.

With a 3 mm cutting diameter and an extended 22 mm cutting edge length (CEL), this tool is ideal for deeper profiling, slotting, and through-cut routing operations where additional cutting depth is required compared to standard-length tooling.

While the tool can machine certain non-ferrous materials, for routing aluminum or ACM panels we recommend Rainbow/DLC coated tooling, which provides improved lubricity, reduced friction, and longer tool life when machining metal substrates.

Note: 6 mm shank router bits are designed for CUTWORX Apex Plus and Apex M Series flatbed cutters equipped with the 1.8 kW liquid cooled router spindle.
