CWT/CWX ER63.3A Rainbow Coated Single O-Flute Downcut Router Bit

The CWT/CWX ER63.3A router bit is engineered for precision routing on CNC flatbed cutting systems used in signage production, plastics fabrication, packaging manufacturing, and industrial machining. Manufactured from super-grade solid carbide and enhanced with a premium rainbow coating for lubricity and tool life enhancement, this tool provides improved wear resistance, reduced cutting friction, and longer tool life during high-speed routing operations.

The single O-flute left-hand spiral (downcut) geometry pushes chips downward into the cut, helping to improve top-edge surface finish and reduce chipping or lifting on laminated or printed materials. This makes it especially suitable for routing applications where surface finish on the top side of the material is critical, such as printed panels, laminated plastics, and composite substrates.

Its 3 mm cutting diameter and 14 mm cutting edge length (CEL) provide an excellent balance of precision and cutting stability, enabling detailed profiling, slotting, and through-cut routing across a wide range of rigid materials.

Typical production applications include:

• Signage fabrication using acrylic, PVC, and aluminum composite materials

• Routing ACM panels such as Dibond®, Alucobond®, and Reynobond

Note: 6 mm shank router bits are designed for CUTWORX Apex Plus and Apex M Series flatbed cutters equipped with the 1.8 kW liquid cooled router spindle.
