CWT/CWX ER64.5A Rainbow Coated 2-Flute Upcut Router Bit

The CWT/CWX ER64.5A router bit is engineered for precision routing of composite wood materials and laminated panels on CNC flatbed cutting systems used in signage fabrication, display production, and industrial woodworking applications. Constructed from super-grade solid carbide and enhanced with a premium rainbow coating for lubricity and tool life enhancement, this tool delivers improved wear resistance, reduced cutting friction, and extended tool life in demanding routing environments.

The two-flute right-hand spiral (upcut) geometry provides enhanced cutting stability and smoother edge finishes compared to single-flute tooling when machining wood-based composite materials and laminated surfaces. This configuration helps reduce vibration while maintaining efficient chip evacuation, making it ideal for routing printed laminate boards, veneered panels, and composite wood substrates.

Its 4 mm cutting diameter combined with an 18 mm cutting edge length (CEL) provides a balanced cutting profile suitable for profiling, slotting, and through-cut routing operations in laminated wood materials and composite panels.
