The CWT/CWX ER64.5B router bit with stop ring is engineered for precision routing of composite wood materials and laminated panels on CNC flatbed cutting systems used in signage fabrication, display production, and industrial woodworking applications. Manufactured from super-grade solid carbide and enhanced with a premium rainbow coating for lubricity and tool life enhancement, this tool provides improved wear resistance, reduced cutting friction, and extended tool life in demanding routing environments.

The two-flute right-hand spiral (upcut) geometry offers improved cutting stability and smoother edge finishes when machining wood-based composite materials and laminated surfaces. Compared to single-flute tools, the dual-flute design provides increased rigidity and balanced cutting forces while still maintaining effective chip evacuation.

With a 4 mm cutting diameter and an 18 mm cutting edge length (CEL), this tool is well suited for profiling, slotting, and through-cut routing operations in laminated MDF, plywood, and composite wood panels.

This model also includes a precision stop ring (collar) designed to maintain consistent tool positioning when used with Zünd ARC automated routing systems and the CUTWORX Tool Changer, ensuring reliable automated tool changes and repeatable cutting performance in production environments.
