CWT/CWX ER64.6A Compression Router Bit – 4 mm Super Carbide Compression Cut Bit

The CWT/CWX ER64.6A compression router bit is designed for high-quality CNC routing of laminated panels, composite boards, plastics, and wood substrates commonly used in signage production, display fabrication, cabinetry, and industrial machining. Manufactured from super-grade solid carbide and enhanced with a premium rainbow coating for lubricity and tool life enhancement, this tool delivers excellent wear resistance, reduced cutting friction, and extended tool life in high-speed routing applications.

The compression cutting geometry combines both upcut and downcut flutes, which compress the material toward the center of the cut during machining. This action prevents lifting on the bottom surface and chipping on the top surface, allowing the bit to produce clean, chip-free edges on both sides of laminated or finished materials.

This router bit features a 4 mm cutting diameter and a 14 mm cutting edge length (CEL), providing precise routing performance for profiling, slotting, and through-cut operations across rigid panels and wood substrates.

For proper compression cutting performance, a minimum material thickness of 3 mm is required, ensuring both the upcut and downcut flute sections engage the material simultaneously.
