CWT/CWX ER66.2D Single O-Flute Upcut Router Bit with Stop Ring

The CWT/CWX ER66.2D router bit with stop ring is engineered for precision CNC routing of plastics, foam boards, and wood substrates commonly used in signage production, graphics fabrication, packaging prototyping, and industrial machining workflows. Manufactured from high-quality solid carbide, this tool delivers reliable cutting performance, durability, and stable routing results across a wide range of materials.

The single O-flute right-hand spiral (upcut) geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation by pulling chips upward out of the cutting zone. This helps reduce heat buildup and prevents material melting when machining plastics and foam substrates, while also producing smooth edges and consistent cut quality.

With a 6 mm cutting diameter and a 22 mm cutting edge length (CEL), the ER66.2D provides strong cutting stability for profiling, slotting, and through-cut routing operations, especially when machining thicker plastics, foam boards, and wood materials.

This version includes a precision stop ring (collar) designed for consistent tool positioning when used with Zünd ARC automated routing systems and the CUTWORX Tool Changer, enabling reliable automated tool changes and repeatable cutting performance in production environments.

While capable of machining some non-ferrous materials, for routing aluminum or ACM panels we recommend Rainbow/DLC coated tooling, which provides improved lubricity, reduced friction, and extended tool life when machining metal substrates.
