CWT/CWX ER66.5H 6 mm Single O-Flute Upcut Router Bit

The CWT/CWX ER66.5H router bit is engineered for deep-cut CNC routing of plastics, foam boards, and wood substrates commonly used in signage fabrication, display manufacturing, packaging prototypes, and industrial routing applications. Manufactured from high-quality solid carbide, this tool provides the rigidity and edge retention needed for consistent performance in production environments.

The single O-flute right-hand spiral (upcut) geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation by pulling chips upward from the cutting zone. This helps reduce heat buildup and prevents melting when machining plastics such as acrylic, PVC, and polycarbonate while maintaining clean cut edges.

With a 6 mm cutting diameter and an extended 32 mm cutting edge length (CEL), the ER66.5H is well suited for deep profiling, slotting, and through-cut routing operations, allowing operators to machine thicker materials or perform deep passes in a single tool setup.

While the tool can machine some non-ferrous materials, for frequent machining of ACM or aluminum we recommend Rainbow/DLC coated tooling, which provides improved lubricity, reduced friction, and extended tool life when cutting metal substrates.
