CWT/CWX ER66.7A Straight Flute Router Bit with Stop Ring

The CWT/CWX ER66.7A straight flute router bit with stop ring is engineered for precision routing of extruded polystyrene and foam-based display boards commonly used in signage production, retail graphics, and fabrication environments. Manufactured from super-grade solid carbide, this 2-flute straight flute tool delivers reliable cutting performance and clean edge quality when machining lightweight rigid substrates.

Straight flute router bits feature cutting edges that run parallel to the axis of the tool, meaning the cutting edges engage the material along the entire flute length simultaneously. Because the tool has no spiral geometry, it produces a neutral cutting action, meaning it does not pull the material upward or push it downward during machining.

This neutral cutting characteristic makes the ER66.7A especially well suited for printed foam boards, laminated display materials, and delicate substrates, where spiral tooling could cause lifting, tearing, or surface damage along the edges.

The tool includes a precision stop ring (collar) designed for automated compatibility with Zünd ARC routing systems and the CUTWORX Tool Changer, ensuring accurate tool positioning and reliable automated tool changes during production operations.

With a 6 mm cutting diameter and approximately 25.4 mm (1 inch) cutting edge length, the ER66.7A provides stable routing performance for profiling, slotting, and through-cutting foam-core display materials.
