The CWT/CWX ER66.6D router bit with stop ring is engineered for precision routing on CNC flatbed cutting systems used in signage production, plastics fabrication, packaging manufacturing, and industrial machining. Manufactured from super-grade solid carbide and enhanced with a premium rainbow coating for lubricity and tool life enhancement, this tool provides improved wear resistance, reduced cutting friction, and longer tool life during high-speed routing operations.

The single O-flute right-hand spiral (upcut) geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation while minimizing heat buildup when machining plastics, composite materials, and wood. Its 6 mm cutting diameter combined with a 12 mm cutting edge length (CEL) delivers a rigid cutting profile suitable for precision profiling, slotting, and through-cut routing.

The shorter 50 mm overall length increases tool rigidity and reduces deflection, improving cut accuracy and edge quality when working with rigid substrates. This model also includes a precision stop ring (collar) designed for consistent tool positioning when used with Zünd ARC automated routing systems and the CUTWORX Tools Changer, ensuring reliable automated tool changes in production environments.

For applications involving metals or aluminum composite materials (ACM), we recommend using the CUTWORX Rainbow/DLC coated 500 Series router bits, which are specifically engineered for extended tool life and improved performance when machining metals.
