CWT/CWX ER66.9B 120° V-Groove Router Bit

The CWT/CWX ER66.9B V-cut router bit is designed for precision V-grooving and V-fold routing operations commonly used in signage production, architectural panel fabrication, and display manufacturing. Manufactured from “Super” carbide with a premium coating for lubricity and tool life enhancement, the tool provides durability and consistent performance when machining composite panels, plastics, and other rigid materials.

The bit features four flutes with 60° cutting edges that create a 120° V-cut profile, making it ideal for producing accurate V-grooves used for folding aluminum composite panels (ACM) and similar materials. The multi-flute geometry improves cutting stability and produces clean groove surfaces that allow precise panel bending without damaging the outer material layers.

With a 6 mm cutting diameter and a 1.7 mm cutting edge length (CEL), the ER66.9B is optimized for shallow and controlled V-grooving operations required for panel folding, channel forming, and structural signage fabrication.

Note: 6 mm shank router bits are designed for CUTWORX Apex Plus and Apex M Series flatbed cutters equipped with the 1.8 kW liquid cooled router spindle.
