CWT/CWX ER66.9C 90° V-Groove Router Bit

The CWT/CWX ER66.9C V-cut router bit is engineered for precision V-grooving and V-fold routing operations used in signage fabrication, architectural panel work, and display manufacturing. Constructed from “Super” carbide and finished with a premium coating for lubricity and tool life enhancement, the tool delivers durability, reduced friction, and consistent machining performance across composite panels and plastics.

This tool features a 90° V-cut geometry with a 10 mm cutting diameter, allowing operators to create clean, consistent grooves for panel folding, edge forming, and structural fabrication. The single-flute design promotes efficient chip evacuation, reducing heat buildup and helping maintain smooth cutting performance when machining aluminum composite panels, plastics, and other rigid substrates.

With a 4.1 mm cutting edge length (CEL), the ER66.9C provides accurate depth control for shallow V-grooves commonly used in ACM folding applications, panel bending operations, and dimensional signage fabrication.

Typical production applications include:

• V-grooving ACM panels such as Dibond®, Alucobond®, and Max Metal® for folded signage

• Creating fold channels for architectural panel fabrication

Note: 6 mm shank router bits are designed for CUTWORX Apex Plus and Apex M Series flatbed cutters equipped with the 1.8 kW liquid cooled router spindle.
