The Eclipse X 3547 Digital Die Cutter is a die-free, sheet-fed flatbed finishing system engineered for print shops, packaging departments, sign makers, and short-run production environments. It gives operators the ability to cut, kiss cut, crease, and finish printed work without traditional cutting dies, making it ideal for custom-shaped print, prototypes, samples, and fast-turn digital production.
With a 47.2" × 35.4" cutting area, automated sheet feeding, CCD camera registration, a precision aluminum table, and a multi-zone vacuum system, the Eclipse X 3547 provides a larger-format production platform for shops that need efficient digital finishing across labels, adhesive sheets, packaging, business cards, invitations, tags, decals, DTF film, and specialty print applications.
The Eclipse X 3547 eliminates the need for traditional cutting dies on short-run and custom-shaped jobs. Operators can move from digital artwork to finished pieces using the integrated tool system.
The machine supports a complete set of finishing tools, including:
Optional perforation and V-cut tooling can expand the system for specialty applications. This tool flexibility allows shops to handle pressure-sensitive materials, reflective films, vinyl, banner material, PVC, styrene, corrugated board, foam, PET, magnetic material, DTF film, and other compatible substrates.
The Eclipse X 3547 is designed for continuous sheet-fed production. Its automated conveyor system connects feeding, cutting, and collection into one production workflow, reducing manual handling and helping shops keep more finishing work moving through the department.
The automatic height-adjusting table supports material stacks up to 15.5" tall. The Eclipse X Series brochure also notes support for placing two stacks of 13" × 19" sheets side by side to increase production time in digital print workflows.
This makes the 3547 a strong fit for repeated short-run work, multi-up digital sheets, sample batches, packaging prototypes, and custom print finishing.
The Eclipse X 3547 uses a high-precision CCD camera system to detect registration marks and align cut paths to printed graphics. This helps compensate for common print distortion and supports accurate contour cutting on digitally printed materials.
The brochure lists Eclipse X Series cutting precision at ±0.1 mm / .004 in. Optical auto tool calibration helps control cutting depth accuracy through automatic knife initialization, improving consistency across repeat jobs.
The Eclipse X 3547 includes 3 vacuum pumps and 3 vacuum zones for strong material hold-down during production. The multi-zone vacuum system helps stabilize materials during cutting and allows operators to manage hold-down based on sheet size, substrate type, and application.
The precision aluminum table and motion control system are designed to support consistent cutting results across commercial print, packaging, signage, and specialty finishing workflows.
The Eclipse X Series is supported by CutterServer software, which helps manage cutting production and streamline the finishing process.
Supported file formats listed in the brochure include:
The Eclipse X 3547 can fit into common design, print, packaging, RIP, and prepress workflows. Optional QR code management can support automated job switching and more efficient variable-job production.
