The NOTUS PLUS can be configured around industrial routing spindles for rigid substrates and automatic tool change workflows. The 13.2 kW (17.7 hp) S6 / 11 kW (14.8 hp) S1 HSD spindle uses an ISO30 taper, ER32 collet holders, pneumatic clamping, 24,000 RPM operation, and an 8-tool linear ATC magazine.

High-frequency spindle option with automatic tool change capability — optimized for fine engraving, acrylic edge quality, and high-speed small-diameter tooling. Dibond and ACM panel processing on the NOTUS PLUS uses the routing spindle with V-groove router bits to score precise fold lines into the aluminum composite face — enabling clean, accurate folds for display and signage structures. This router bit operation is one of the most common ACM fabrication workflows.
MultiHead Configuration
The COMAGRAV NOTUS PLUS MultiHead configuration adds knife cutting, creasing, oscillating, and rotary tool modules alongside the routing spindle. This expands production capability to flexible, soft, sheet, and roll materials that are better processed by blades, creasing wheels, kiss-cutting tools, or rotary discs instead of router bits.
Routing is suited to many rigid substrates, while oscillating, rotary, kiss-cut, and creasing tools are better matched to flexible media, packaging board, foam, rubber, textiles, films, and folding applications. The U1A module accepts the full range of U1 knife tools, creaser wheels, KISSCUT tools, and VCUT tools. Cardboard, paper sheets, and thin corrugated board are cut and creased with U1 tools — not router bits. The U1A is the primary module for packaging and display structural cutting workflows.
The U1B module provides dedicated creasing and scoring capability for folding carton, packaging board, and display structures. Creates precise fold lines without cutting through the material — essential for POS/POP display and packaging production workflows that require accurate crease registration.
U1 Module Tool Options
