Ops Console / Module 02 / Kaizen
Small fixes, logged, never lost.
Kaizen is the habit of many small improvements. The danger is that good ideas evaporate before anyone acts. This log captures each one with an owner and a status, so the little wins actually land and add up.
A living list of small improvements. Kaizen is the habit of many tiny fixes; the log makes sure none of them get lost.
Every day. Anyone on the floor adds an idea; the log tracks it from idea to done so good suggestions actually happen.
Capture the idea, give it an owner and a status, and review the open ones at a short weekly huddle.
The finishing team logs five ideas in a week: a magnet strip for blades (done), relabel the ink shelf (done), a second scrap bin at the cutter (in progress), a laminator warm-up checklist (idea), and a better proof rack (idea). None are big on their own. Logged and reviewed weekly, they compound into a noticeably smoother line.
